I love LOLcats

I have to admit, I can’t get enough of pictures of cats with funny captions on them. These are also known, of course, as LOLcats.

I’m not ashamed of this, though I am a little embarrassed to add that I have devoted hours of my all-too-brief and precious lifetime, to making my way steadily through the archives at http://icanhascheezburger.com/.

Time spent laughing is time well spent. And in honor of that, here are some of my favorite LOLs.

    I am delighted to report that the officials who control China’s Golden Shield Project (a/k/a the Great Firewall) have not yet detected your blog. But I have! :-)

    And now I have a confession to make. Not only did I completely miss the boat on the meaning of “seventh inning stretch” (another sports non-fan, and thank you for clearing that up!), but I also blew it on “LOLcat”. I had guessed that a “LOLcat” was a person who responded to a lengthy post with a comment that consisted of “LOL!”.

    Okay, I have to go take my fenugreek tablets now.

    I can’t tell you how reassuring it is to know that (other) smart people were clueless on this one… and knowing that The Great Panda Bear is as yet unaware of my existence is a great bonus. LOL!
